About the programme

There are diverse possibilities for especially advanced pharmaceutical research at the Faculty of Pharmacy, since its different institutes represent the whole area of pharmaceutical research, from the synthesis or isolation of biologically active compounds and their pharmacological or biopharmaceutical investigation, to their formulation. Students can explore different fields of pharmaceutical research according to their interests and at the same time gain extensive knowledge in other fields as well from the available courses. The scientific content of each programme is introduced separately, although they represent a single unit.

Duration of the programme: 4+4 semesters

Application requirements: MSc, MD or MPharm degree in a related field*, a demonstrated proficiency in English (B2/intermediate or equivalent international language exam), an individual interview online. Preferred qualifications: pharmacist, chemist, MD, biologist.

Start of the programme: February & September of each year

Tuition fee: 4500 EUR per semester

Application fee: 35 EUR

Entrance Examination Fee: 200 EUR

Scholarship: Scholarships are available to cover the tuition fee (e.g. Stipendium Hungaricum, for details see the website of Tempus Public Foundation).
