University of Szeged - Where knowledge and challenge meet

Cross-border cooperation and a wide network of partner universities (SZTE has relationships with 64 partner universities) have made the university's participation in bi- and multilateral cooperation exemplary, thus its students find it easy to take part in international scholarship and exchange programmes supporting student mobility. Scholarships of the CEEPUS and the LLP/ERASMUS programmes are most popular. As a result of the ERASMUS cooperation agreement concluded with 375 universities in 30 countries, hundreds of students from Szeged may study abroad every year and, thanks to a Central European programme, the University of Szeged has relationships with 45 universities of 14 countries. Consequently, the students of SZTE have access to some of the best universities in Europe and overseas where they can extend their knowledge and experience and, also, improve the image of their Alma Mater.

It is by no means unusual to meet foreign people in Szeged, especially within the walls of the university. Guests of the ERASMUS programme attend English or German language medical courses, the English language dentist or pharmacist courses, the French and German language law studies and spread the good word-of-mouth about the University of Szeged all around the world.
