Life at the Faculty of Science and Informatics - from the students' viewpoint

Photography contest is announced by the Faculty of Science and Informatics, University of Szeged for the students of the Faculty.

The topics of the submitted photos have to be in connection with the Faculty of Science and Informatics, University of Szeged. They should refer to its institutions, organizations and the life of its students (such as education, research, field work, laboratory work, freshmen’s camp, sports day, programme evenings). One student can submit maximum 5 photos which have not yet been submitted to any other applications or contests. (Photo series are excluded.)


The photos have to be submitted only electronically to the following address: fotopalyazat@sci.u-szeged.hu

The deadline for submitting the photos: 31st July 2018

 

The colour or black and white photos have to meet the following parameters:

- their resolution / size has to be minimum 8 MP

- file format: JPG or PNG

- image size: maximum 15 Mb.

 

The following data has to be indicated with the submitted photos:

- the title of the submitted, attached photo (1 photo / e-mail)

- the data of the photographer (name, major, telephone number, Neptun code)

 

The submitted photos will be evaluated by a jury appointed by the contest organizers. An exhibition at the Autumn Cultural Festival 2018 will be organized from the prize winner photos and from photos selected by the jury.

 

Prizes:

I. prize: 50.000 HUF

 

II. prize: 30.000 HUF

 

III. prize: 20.000 HUF

 

Extra prize: 10.000 HUF

 

Only own photos can be submitted to the contest. With the submission the applicants declare that the submitted photos do not conflict a third party’s moral rights, furthermore they also contribute to the photo exhibition without expecting any fees, and they allow that the submitted photos can be used or released by the contest organizer in any Faculty brochures and on the websites.
