ONLINE REGISTRATION

The conference series started in 1995 under the patronage of EUFEPS and the goal of the founders was to give a platform for colleagues from the Central European region working on the field of pharmaceutical technology in the industry, universities or academic institutes. In the past conferences the original goals were extended, and the conference topics covered also pharmaceutical biotechnology or as in this conference, the regulatory aspects of drug development and manufacturing.

This scientific forum traditionally gathers colleagues from all over Europe but especially from the Central- and Eastern-European region, and serves as a strong and stable background for permanent dialogue between pharmacists and other scientists working in the fields of pharmaceutical R&D or manufacturing.

The conference provides the possibility for the participants to present their results, discuss the new developments and the future directions of the pharmaceutical technology and manufacturing. It offers a good opportunity to promote scientific achievements for talented young pharmacists, initiate common research projects, and fostering the application of the results of new approaches for the accelerated development and introduction of safer and more effective medicines.

SZTE Experience

SantiagoSantiago Vallejo - Faculty of Law and Political Sciences

I’m from Ecuador and a Ph.D. student from the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program. I first heard about the University of Szeged on the internet. The general study environment is nice and student life in the city is lovely. With my program and the academic system, I can control my time which is a plus. The city is very affordable, and I live in the city center. One of my favorite extra-curricular activities is the Hungarian cultural programs. I have so many favorite spots, but parks are top on the list. The professors and staffs are very approachable. The mentors and classmates also did an excellent job to explore and know the city better. I hope to continue my career as a professor, and I would recommend the university to friends because it is, in general, a beautiful place.

Being awarded the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship, I came from Lebanon to Szeged. Student life here is astonishing; I simply adore being a student at SZTE. A variety of foreign scholars, and young people have arrived here from all corners of the world. After having finished with academic work at the lab, there is still time for relaxing. The town itself is also impressive – my favourite place is Széchenyi tér.
