(1) The Committee for Education and Training of the University of Szeged (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) supports the proposal of the Directorate of Academic Affairs to announce an additional examination period in the academic year 2022/2023 between 21 and 28 August 2023.

(2) During the additional examination period, at least one examination day in the subjects concerned shall be granted to students who have failed a course taken in the second semester of the academic year 2022/2023, regardless of whether they have previously had a valid examination attempt or an unsatisfactory mark.

(3) During the additional examination period, the rules of the preferential study and examination schedule apply, so that it is possible to deviate from the types of examination announced at the beginning of the semester and the fourth examination (third retake examination) may be taken without special request.

(4) During the additional examination period, it is not possible to retake a successful examination, i.e. to improve a mark.

(5) Examination dates shall be announced in such a way that students may apply for them from 14 August 2023.

(6) Grades obtained during the additional examination period shall be recorded no later than 29 August 2023.
