Degree: Doctoral Programmes in Interdisciplinary Sciences (Health Sciences, Theoretical Medicine, Experimental Medicine), PhD

Duration of the course: Three academic years; 6 semesters

Description of the programme: The School offers a PhD program to graduate students and focuses its research and training on the role of health-threatening microorganisms and dangerous environmental effects. Both epidemiologic and experimental studies are necessary to identify physical and chemical effects that cause health problems. The courses of the Medical Microbiology and Preventive Medicine programs are combined in this Doctoral School and offer a wide variety of research.

Fields of study: medical microbiology, antimicrobial immunity; preventive medicine.

• Application fee: 150 EUR
• Registration fee: 200 EUR
• Tuition fee: max. 5000 EUR per semester
