Description of the programme: The high standards of the Doctoral School in Biology at the University of Szeged are ensured by the tradition of teaching biology here, the close collaboration between the university and the Biological Research Centre of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and the technological background of the participating institutions.

More than one and a half decade of experience proves the efficiency of PhD training in Szeged and shows that experts, having obtained their degrees here, are competitive in the international field.

Fields of study: biochemistry; biotechnology; neurobiology; genetics; molecular biology; microbiology; plant biology; human biology.
